John part 3- Signs
In
his gospel, John described specific events “so that you may believe that Jesus
is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His
name.” John 20:30-31. This week starts
the beginning of John’s description of the signs and miracles. Think about why John chose these particular
events in Jesus’ life and what they show us about the nature of Jesus – both as
God and man. Reflect on what they mean
to you. Do you see these as stories in
the bible? Or do they mean more? After you go through the passages and
questions listed below, journal your thoughts.
Ask God to show you what He wants you to see from these two events in
Jesus’ life on this earth.
