Abundant Life

In today's podcast, I share my thoughts on abundant life in Christ.

Today's scripture is:

I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.  John 10:10

Abundant Life

The Lost Time

Blog Readers,
Taking a break from sharing my audio format to share something I wrote in my journal a few days ago. This blog was never about producing content but only sharing when I felt I had something to say, when God prompted me to share.  This is one such entry.  I hope you've been enjoying the audio content but am heart I feel I am a writer, not of books but of spiritual thoughts and journey-sharing.  I hope this connects with your journey...

It has been months since I have sat down to write.  I wonder why I've been avoiding it.  Just to start this entry makes me feel a little raw--like things I don't want to face might come slinking out.  God started us on this journey of trusting Him about this time last year.  It's hard to describe how you can be the same person yet a completely different person to those that haven't experienced the upheaval of changing your whole life willingly yet afraid.
Right now is the lost time.
The time where I am trying to figu…

Into the Wilderness

Come with me as I travel spiritually into the wilderness...

Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.                                                                                                                                           Hosea 2:14

Waiting on the Upright One

Welcome to Episode 2 of the House Your Building audio component.

If you click on the link below, you will be taken to a website where you can listen to teaching on today's scripture:

The way of the righteous is smooth;
O Upright One, make the path of the righteous level.
Indeed, while following the way of Your judgement, O Lord,
We have waited for you eagerly;
Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls.

Finding Your Voice

Here is the first installment of my audio blog series.  I hope that it encourages you to listen.
Clicking on the link will take you to a page where you can stream an mp3 of the recording so you shouldn't need to download any fancy equipment.  Let me know if you have trouble with this at all and I will do my best to get that fixed.

Thanks to my husband for the great intro music!  For those with iPhones or tablets that podcast, I will be submitting the audio to iTunes and you can follow me there as well and easily share episdoes with friends.

Here is the scripture for today's talk:
Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given and then sink yourself into that.  Don't be impressed with yourself.  Don't compare yourself with others.  Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.

Changes to the Blog

So I haven't posted in awhile.  Since the last time I posted, almost a year ago I'm ashamed to say...God has been doing some major restructuring of my life and I honestly have not had any time to write as I've had nothing left to pour out.  We all go through those seasons.  This blog has never been about me creating content as much as letting it funnel through me!

In the past year God has asked me to leave my job, town, friends, church and move three hours away and start over for my family.  He started speaking to me about this right after my last blog post.  Now my family has moved and is feeling somewhat settled enough to get back to "normal" life, whatever that is.

So five years ago I started this blog as a way to thank God for all that He'd done in my life and to help people on the same journey I find myself on.  In this new season, I feel God is wanting me to share but in a different format, primarily through an audio medium like podcasting.  Still tea…
